About The Songbird

Singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and engineer Kelsie Janel is

truly a musical phenomenon in her own right. Reaching acclaim as far as

South Africa, she has written over 150 songs, has over 100 beats in

her catalog, and has engineered not only for herself but other artists as well.

Her humble beginnings in music came about at the tender age of eight

when she began writing songs and learned her first instrument,

the violin. From that point, Kelsie Janel learned to play piano and

numerous other instruments independently.

Kelsie Janel is a multi-faceted creative individual who has chosen to

let her creativity change the world, one person at a time. Kelsie has been

able to perform at venues such as the Jump Ball Summer Tournament

hosted by LL Cool J in Queens, where she performed her original

arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner. Growing up in a musical family

that has had many successes, she has chosen to create a brand that stands

on her own, so that her success can be seen as belonging to God and

herself.

From this mindset, the idea of "SongbirdsRUs" was established,

coining Kelsie Janel as not only the Corinne Bailey Rae of Gospel Music,

but as the Songbird herself. With her expertise in music theory and her

ever-growing knowledge of the production and engineering industry that

she obtained at Full Sail University with her B.S. in Music Production, it

is safe to say that Kelsie Janel is an artist that is not only worth listening to,

but an artist worth believing.

"Heart of a Dancer. Mind of a Poet. Ambition of a Musician. Soul of a Lyricist."
